Today, I have finally decided to bite the proverbial bullet and begin learning to blog. I want this blog to be more than a simple journal, though I can see how that could be beneficial. My primary goal is better communication with my students and their parents.
A Little About Me:
I have been teaching for a long time. The last 9 years have been at Nettleton Junior High School where I teach Physical Science. I am a teacher who loves hands-on activities. I learn better and I believe my students do too.
I graduated high school in 1985, completed my BSE in 1989, and my MSE in Biology Education in 1996. I achieved National Board Certification in 2004. So, I think it is clear that I like challenges. I have decided my next challenge will be implementing more technology into my classroom, not just for me to use but my students too.
